Today more girls go to school than ever before. However, despite progress women and girls enjoy equal right to quality education based on gender and its difference along with other factors like age, ethnicity, poverty and disability, we are against all these evils.
Devbhoomi Janakalyan Evam Shiksha Samiti (Regd.) is a non-profit organization formed by a group of volunteers in the Gairsain block of Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand. It was formally registered as an organization in 2018 under the Uttarakhand Societies’ Registration Act. 1860 and later it was also registered under 80G, 12A and NITI Aayog, etc.
We are working on developing the curriculum holistically for maximum benefit to the children. In order to motivate the students to move forward irrespective of their socio-economic conditions, apart from the tuition fees, the scholarship and other expenses of the very poor students are borne by us.
Devbhumi Janakalyan evm Shiksha Samiti aims to create opportunities for economically and socially underprivileged people and help them realize their potential so that they can fulfill their dreams, and become an asset to the nation.
